You are permitted 20 KGs of checked luggage and 5 KGs as hand luggage on flights within Tibet. There will be charges for excess luggage at the airport check-in point. It is always advisable to travel with a minimum of luggage and we point out that few airports and hotels in Tibet have porters to haul what you have with you.
